Established in 1977, Daika Thai is an independent solution provider that source, develop, market, and distribute a wide range of specialty chemicals and feed ingredients to business partners in specialty chemicals, water treatment and feed industries.

Introduction

Daika (Thai) Inc., Ltd. (Head Office) is located on 1168/49 Lumpini Tower Building, 18/F, Rama 4 Road, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120. The company was founded in 1977 under a joint venture between Daika (Japan) Co., Ltd. and the Thai Partners. In 1984 the shares of the Japanese and local partners were transferred to the present Managing Director (Mr. Niphon Atichartakarn), since then he became the major shareholder of the company. The registered capital of the company at present is Baht 40 Millions. The total business turnover in 2013 (excluding indent sales) achieved more than US$ 40 Million (approx Baht 1,200 Millions).

History

The company was established in 1977 under a joint venture between Daika (Japan) Co., Ltd. in Osaka and the Thai Partners. In 1984 the shares of the Japanese and local partners were transferred to the present Managing Director (Mr. Niphon Atichartakarn), since then he became the major shareholder of the company. The registered capital of the company at present is Baht 40 Millions or US$ 1.3 Million (approx).

Under the leadership of Mr. Niphon Atichartakarn and over 20 years of his experience, Daika has evolved into a dynamic group of companies with diversified activities in the provision of petrochemical, industrial & water treatment chemicals; high alloy furnace tube, sodium hypochlorite generator & steam sampling equipment for the equipment supplies including feed ingredients for the feed industries. Our affiliate companies namely Daika Pack Co., Ltd., Daika Estate Co., Ltd and Feed Ingredients Supply Co., Ltd. have been established afterward in 2001, 2004 and 2005 respectively. By our most effort for the distribution of qualified industrial commodities, services under customer-focus marketing found the business expansion across country, which distinguish Daika from other local chemical supplies companies.

We have active 100+ professional working for our group, with head office in Bangkok and 3 warehouse and factory in Samutprakarn and Rayong Provinces. Daika (Thai) currently holds agencies and distribution lines for worldwide well-known manufacturers and we pride ourselves to be their partner and local supplier for our prestigious customers.

The total business turnover in 2013 (excluding indent sales) was Baht 1,200 Millions or US$ 40 Million (approx). The revenue forecast in 2015 is Baht 1,450 Millions or US$ 44.50 Million (approx).

Interflon lubricants are high quality lubricants which are being used for industrial and food-stuff plant equipment maintenance purposes. Interflon lubricants significantly reduce manufacturing’s maintenance cost and power consumption.

Sentry Equipment, is very well-known in sampling equipments for water-steam sampling and process sampling (gas, liquid, and slurry powder).

Chemical Transferring Plant

As industrial chemicals are our main lines especially for serving petrochemicals industries, we complete service to local clients by our own reliable storage and factory at Nong Bon near the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province.

This special plant is used to handle the repacking and distribution of some intensive care products like DIMETHYL DISULFEDE (DMDS), ETHYL MERCAPTAN (EM), and TERTIOBUTYLMERCAPTAN (TBM).

With the area of approximately 12 Rai (19,200 m²), we provide full service with variety ranges of DMDS storage tanks from 50 MT and 80 MT.

We deliver the semi bulk of 2.5 MT after transferring from 50 MT or 80 MT DMDS tanks through closed transferred system and sophisticated process of transferring under public environment and safety control.

For Demethyl Disulfide (DMDS), we have been the major distributor in Thailand under the ARKEMA or previous Atofina and Elf Atochem for more than 20 years.
